Advanced 10-Ton Gantry Crane
Gantry crane is a type of bridge crane with a horizontal bridge frame set on two legs to form a door frame. This type of crane runs on ground tracks and is mainly used for handling and installation operations in open storage yards, docks, power stations, ports and railway freight stations.
The lifting mechanism, trolley running mechanism and bridge structure of the gantry crane are basically the same as those of the bridge crane. Due to the large span, the crane running mechanism is mostly driven separately to prevent the crane from running crookedly and increasing resistance or even causing accidents.
The gantry crane's lifting trolley runs on the bridge. Some lifting trolleys are boom cranes, or they can be cantilevered at one end or both ends to expand the operating range.

1. When lifting heavy objects, the hook wire rope should be kept vertical, and the object should not be dragged obliquely.
2. The center of gravity of the lifted object should be accurately found and tied firmly. Sharp angles should be padded with wooden blocks.
3. The crane shall not make a rotational movement before the heavy object is lifted off the ground.
4. When lifting or lowering heavy objects, the speed should be uniform and stable to avoid sudden changes in speed, which may cause the heavy object to swing in the air and cause danger. When dropping heavy objects, the speed should not be too fast to avoid breaking the heavy object when it falls to the ground.
5. When the crane is lifting heavy objects, try to avoid raising and lowering the boom. When the boom must be raised and lowered under the condition of lifting heavy objects, the lifting weight shall not exceed 50% of the specified weight.
6. When the crane is rotating under the condition of lifting heavy objects, pay close attention to whether there are obstacles around. If there are obstacles, try to avoid or remove them.
