Product Introduction:
Saffron, the name of a traditional Chinese medicine ingredient. This product is the upper part and stigma of the saffron style of the Iridaceae plant. Choose sunny mornings from September to October to collect flowers, remove the stigma, and dry them to produce dried saffron. If reprocessed to make the oil moist and shiny, it is called wet safflower. The quality of dried saffron is better. Store in a cool and dry place, tightly sealed.

Saffron contains about 2% saffron, which is an ester formed by the combination of saffron acid and two molecules of gentian disaccharides. It also contains dimethyl saffron acid, saffron picrin about 2%, and volatile oil 0.4-1.3% (mainly saffron aldehyde. Saffron aldehyde is generated by the hydrolysis of saffron picrin. Saffron and saffron picrin may combine to form the original saffron and exist in raw medicine. It also contains abundant vitamin B2. Bulbs contain glucose, amino acids, and saponins.
