GLASSINE PAPER FEATURES
Glassine paper is a smooth and glossy paper that is air, water, and grease resistant. It is most commonly used as a base for further silicone coating for manufacture of release liner. Glassine is also employed as an interleaving paper in bookbinding, especially to protect fine illustrations from contact with facing pages; the paper can be manufactured with a neutral pH, and can prevent damage from spilling, exposure, or rubbing.

Silicone coated glassine papers protect against grease, water, air, and moisture. It's approved for direct food contact. It can be safely sterilized. And most importantly, glassine can help lower your environmental footprint. Free from coatings or dyes, glassine is fully recyclable and biodegradable.
Glassine's surface is suitable for rotogravure, offset, flexo, and digital printing. Printing on glassine requires both expertise and experience with printing processes and a variety of inks, especially to achieve fine-line images in vivid, full color.
GLASSINE PAPER APPLICATION
The silicone coated glassine paper is used for high-speed automatic labeling (especially for high-speed label-sticking), logistics label, medical plaster, adhesive film, electronic die-cutting, adhesive sticker, special tape, double side tape base material trademark, laser anti-counterfeit label and other applications.
