Atlac ® 430 ACT is a styrene solution of pre promoted thixotropic epoxy bisphenol A vinyl resin with moderate reactivity and viscosity.


Atlac ® 430 ACT can be used for glass fiber reinforced components with excellent chemical corrosion resistance to achieve better mechanical properties, such as storage tanks, containers and devices, corrosion protection, hydraulic engineering, repair of sewage pipelines, anti-corrosion flooring, mold manufacturing, etc. Using Atlac ® The laminated board manufactured with 430 ACT has excellent long-term heat resistance and high dynamic load bearing capacity. Atlac ® 430 ACT has obtained CCS certification from China Classification Society and LR certification from Lloyd's Register of Shipping.
430 ACT Storage Guidelines
This resin is suitable for storage in a dark and dry place with a temperature between 5 ºC and 30 ºC. The storage period may be shortened at higher temperatures and may lead to changes in resin properties. The storage life of vinyl ester resins containing styrene will be sharply shortened if exposed to light. Therefore, it is only suitable for storage in a dark place and 100% light proof container. Direct sunlight should be avoided.

A. Recommend using MEKP curing system with a dosage of 1%~2.5%; Depending on the construction temperature
Adjust the amount of curing agent. If the process requires a longer gel time (>60min), tert butyl catechol inhibitor can be added in the MEKP system. The workshop temperature should be maintained between 18 ºC and 32 ºC, and the workshop humidity should be maintained between 40% and 90%. Constant workshop conditions will obtain constant gel time and help manufacturers produce high-quality products.
B. During the curing process, it is recommended to add 0.2% wax with a melting point of 54-57 ° C to the surface of the product. When added, a 10% styrene solution is prepared. The final product with good curing will not stick to the surface.
C. Thixotropic resin, it is recommended to perform appropriate barrel rolling and gentle stirring before use to make the product uniform and conducive to operation.
430 ACT Application Operation Guide
Room temperature cured products also need to undergo post curing treatment to achieve optimal physical and chemical properties. Prior to this, the product needs to undergo 24 hours of room temperature curing. The post curing conditions are: 80-100oC/3-6 hours (thick products take longer); For components used for chemical corrosion resistance, post curing is particularly important.
