Premium Cutter Head Suction Dredger Crafted at Heng Peng Shipyard
1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger of steel construction, non self-propelled and dismountable, is engineered to berth and dredge in diverse waters, whether coastal areas or inland rivers. It aligns with the navigation area 'A' standards or below, as specified in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, conforming to class III standards detailed in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each part is designed for easy transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. It is powered by a Marine engine. The main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all other equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed with all welded steel, the hull provides the strength necessary for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon.
The hull steel plate utilized is CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate).
