Agriculture Medicine Insecticide Chlorpyrifos 40% EC
Application:
Chlorpyrifos-methyl is a broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide with contact, stomach and fumigation effects and no systemic action. It is used to control pests in stored grain and pests on various leaf crops. It can also be used to control insect pests such as mosquitoes and flies, and has no persistence in soil. For example, when the medicament is used for the storage of raw grain, it can effectively prevent corn elephants, miscellaneous grain thieves, saw grain thieves, and red grain thieves.
Chlorpyrifos Mode of action
Systemic insecticide with translaminar activity and with contact and stomach action.
Chlorpyrifos Uses
Control of Hemiptera, especially aphids, Thysanoptera and Lepidoptera, by soil and foliar application, on a wide range of crops,
especially vegetables, fruit and tea. Applied at 75-300 g/ha on vegetables, 100-700 g/ha in orchards.
