Three point caliper for measuring the outer diameter of oil field drilling bits and oil pipelines.
The product material is made of high carbon steel, and the main measuring range and claws can be supplied according to customer special requirements, can be customized according to drawings or samples.
The three-point calipers are divided into six specifications: 80-130mm, 130-230mm, 230-350mm, 350-480mm, 480-750mm,750-1050mm, with a graduation value of 0.02mm or 0.05mm.
The three-point caliper is a measuring tool that uses mathematical edge and angle function theory, as well as the principle of vernier reading, to directly measure the readings of circular body components, oilfield drilling bits, oil pipeline outer diameter, and three wing centralizers.
We can supply metric one, dual scale in metric and inch size one according to customer's requirements.

Usage method
According to the measured outer diameter, apply a three-point caliper that is suitable for the specification. Place the missing part in the three measuring surfaces of the three-point caliper, so that the complete circular part of the measured part is in ideal contact with the measuring surface. The circular diameter size can be directly read on the measuring ruler and vernier.
Matters needing attention
1. Keep the measuring tool body clean and free of dirt, prohibit contact with corrosive objects, and apply anti rust oil after use.
2. During use, it should be handled with care and there should be no strong impact.

Operation instruction:
Before using, loose the screw and then undraw the frame smoothly. clear the measure side and guide side by cotton fabric.
Check the zero point: push the frame forward slowly to make the outside claw two side edges match well. The Zero point
matches the end scale. During measuring, push or pull slowly and smoothly.
to make the tool touch the subject well, not too tight(better 4-6N).When read the scale, the eyesight should be straight avoid inaccuracy.
Reading method: when measures the outside diameter, adjust the tool against the object, put the object into the 3 measure planes to make sure the object touch well with the tool measure side so that the scale will be read.
