1. Product Application:
This product is one of the series of ring-shaped drill tool gauges. It retains the advantages of a large measurement range and light weight. It can meet the external diameter detection needs of various drill bits, drill stabilizers, casing centralizers, matching joints, drill rods, fishing tools, and other irregular objects within its measurement range. It is easy to use and provides intuitive readings.
2. Usage Method:
Open the packaging box and take out the drill tool gauge. Open the gauge until it is slightly larger than the external diameter of the object to be measured. Insert the gauge horizontally into the object to be measured and move it from top to bottom to the measuring part of the object. Close the gauge until the circular plates are tangent to the outer circle of the object being measured. At this point, the value indicated by the movable mark on the scale is the external diameter of the object. During measurement, ensure that the gauge plates are perpendicular to the axis of the object to avoid affecting measurement accuracy.
3. Maintenance Method:
After use, wipe off surface dirt and apply a small amount of lubricant between the gauge plates. Move the plates repeatedly to ensure the lubricant is evenly distributed, keeping the plates flexible. Store the gauge in the packaging box for safekeeping.
4. Standard Adoption:
This product adopts the standard: JJG (Petroleum) 38-94, approved and recognized by the Petroleum Industry Metrology Verification Procedure Technical Committee.
