American style Piston type and Wedge type quick change tool post and holders
The quick-change tool holder is the main accessory of an ordinary lathe, consisting of a tool post and several tool holders. According to the needs of the workpiece to be processed, the corresponding tool holder can be selected to perform machining such as turning the outer circle, turning the end face, grooving, cutting, knurling, drilling, reaming, and boring. The height of tools can be regulated and positioned relative to the centerline of machine spindle. It features external tool-mounting, tool-matching, quick tool-changing, high positioning accuracy and strong rigidity.
"Wedge Type Quick Change Tool Post" and "Piston Type Quick Change Tool Post" are two distinct systems used in machining operations, especially on lathes, to enable rapid tool changes and enhance machining efficiency. These systems are designed to streamline the process of swapping out cutting tools and tool holders, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
