Product Description
Customized Galvanized Steel Ring-Lock Scaffolding for Building Construction
This product is one customized Scaffolding made of heavy steel of Q345 used for building Construction, a 1.2kw laser cutting machine cuts it, and a professional machine strength forms the spiral shape and global standard welding skill finishes it. The cutting edge of this screw plate is very smooth and the tolerance is controlled within 0.05~0.1mm according to the drawing required measure, which is a very high standard in the whole industry. The professional welding standard makes it look very nice.
We also offer various customized laser cutting, forming, bending, and welding services for steel, copper, aluminum, etc materials, and the thickness can be arranged from 1~50mm.
- General Information
- Project Name/Location: Identifies where the scaffolding will be used.
- Date: When the specification was prepared (e.g., today is March 19, 2025).
- Scaffold Type: Specifies the system (e.g., tube and coupler, frame scaffolding, system scaffolding like ring-lock or cup-lock, suspended scaffold, etc.).
- Design Specifications
- Dimensions: Height, width, and length of the scaffold structure.
- Load Capacity: Maximum intended load (e.g., light-duty: 25 lbs/ft², medium-duty: 50 lbs/ft², heavy-duty: 75 lbs/ft², or custom loads).
- Platform Details: Width (e.g., minimum 600 mm for access), planking type (e.g., wood, metal), and whether fully decked or partially boarded.
- Height-to-Base Ratio: Typically 4:1 unless tied or specifically designed otherwise.
- Components
- Standards (Uprights): Vertical poles, including material (e.g., steel, aluminum) and spacing (e.g., 2m for light-duty).
- Ledgers/Transoms: Horizontal members and their spacing.
- Bracing: Diagonal or cross-bracing for stability, including angles (e.g., 45°-60° for face bracing).
- Base Plates/Mud Sills: Size (e.g., 6"x6" base plate) and purpose (load distribution).
- Couplers/Clamps: Types (e.g., right-angle, swivel) and load ratings.
- Ties/Anchors: Frequency (e.g., every 4m vertically) and attachment method to the structure.
- Safety Requirements
- Guardrails: Top rail height (e.g., 38-45 inches per OSHA), midrails (e.g., 20-30 inches), and toeboards (e.g., 6 inches high).
- Fall Protection: Personal fall arrest systems (PFAS) or guardrails are required if over 10 feet (OSHA 1926.451(g)).
- Access: Ladders, stairs, or ramps with specified dimensions (e.g., 450mm wide passage).
- Weather Considerations: Wind load resistance (e.g., per ASCE 7 or local codes) and measures for adverse conditions.
- Material Specifications
- Material Type: Steel (e.g., galvanized), aluminum, or timber (stress grade, e.g., 1500 lb-f/in²).
- Thickness/Dimensions: For example, scaffold tubes might be 48.3mm outer diameter with a 3.2mm wall thickness.
- Finish: Painted, galvanized, or unpainted (wood typically left unpainted to reveal defects).
- Regulatory Compliance
- Standards: References to applicable codes (e.g., OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart L, BS EN 12811-1, or local regulations like IS 3696 in India).
- Inspection: Frequency (e.g., before use and after alterations) and by whom (competent person).
- Erection and Dismantling
- Instructions: Step-by-step guidance or reference to the manufacturer's manual.
- Competence: Requirement for trained personnel only.
- Additional Notes
- Special Conditions: E.g., proximity to power lines (minimum clearance per OSHA 1926.451(f)(6)), use of sheeting/netting, or pedestrian protection.
- Designer: Name and qualifications (e.g., registered professional engineer for scaffolds over 75 feet).
