Characteristics
Vanconol® AF-110 antifogging agent combines dynamic contact angle technology and super hydrophilic coating technology to make condensation water on the surface of the film form a continuous and uniform transparent water film.
While ensuring high transparency of the film, it effectively enhances the anti fog durability of the film in high humidity environments, and can be applied to agricultural films, food packaging, and retail industries.
Product principle
- The change of ambient temperature and humidity causes the water vapor in the air to condense on the surface of the film into water droplets.
- The surface tension of water droplets is much higher than that of the film, which prevents water droplets from effectively spreading on the surface of the film, resulting in the accumulation of a large number of discontinuous water droplets on the surface of the film.
- Water droplets falling on the surface of crops or fresh produce can cause crop diseases or fresh decay.
- Hydrophilic groups in AF-110 coating capture water molecules, so that the surfactant in the coating can migrate to the water molecules by adjusting the surface tension and interfacial tension, promoting surface wetting and inhibiting condensation, which effectively reduces the dynamic contact Angle of the water mist and enables the water mist to spread rapidly to form a continuous transparent water film, preventing water droplets from forming fog, thus achieving the effect of anti-fog.
- Under the action of gravity, the water film flows laterally along the film to the bottom of the greenhouse film.
- While the transparency of the greenhouse film is ensured, the occurrence of crop diseases or fresh rot is reduced.

Operating recommendation
Place the coating solution in the coating tank and dilute it in a ratio of 1:11 to water. The film is then coated by roller coating or dip coating to form a coating layer, which is then dried to form a defogging coating.
