Product name:
Cefoperazone Sodium for Injection 1g

Character:
This product is white to yellowish crystalline powder or freeze-dried lump or powder; No odor; Crystalline powder has moisture-inducing properties, and freeze-dried products are easy to moisture-inducing.

Indications:
It is suitable for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, biliary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, septicemia, peritonitis, pelvic infection, etc. The latter two should be combined with anti-anaerobic drugs.

Drug interaction:
1. When combined with aminoglycoside antibiotics (gentamicin and tobramycin), this product has a synergistic effect on some sensitive strains of Enterobacteriaceae bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
2. This product can produce hypoprothrombinemia, thrombocytopenia, and may cause bleeding when used together with the following drugs: anticoagulant heparin, coumarin or indendione derivatives, thrombolytic drugs, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics (especially aspirin, diflunix or other salicylic acid agents) and sulfopirone.
3. The chemical structure of this product contains the side chain of methiontetrazolium, so during the application of this product, drinking alcohol or intravenous injection of ethanol-containing drugs will inhibit the activity of acetaldehyde dehydrogenase, resulting in the accumulation of acetaldehyde in the blood, and the appearance of drowsiness, hallucination and other disulfide like reactions. Therefore, the patient should not consume alcohol, oral or intravenous drugs containing ethanol during the treatment period and for 5 days after discontinuation.
4. When this product is combined with aminoglycoside antibiotics, it should not be injected in the same bottle, because it may affect the antibacterial activity of each other.
5. There are contraindications between this product and the following injections: amikacin, gentamicin, kanamycin B, doxycycline, Meclofenoxate, amalin (Bradylidene), diphenhydramine, potassium magnesium aspartate, hydroxyzine hydrochloride (Antarol), procainamine, aminofylline, Prochlorazine, cytochrome C, Pentazocine (analgescin), aprotinin, etc.

Pharmacology and toxicology:

Cefoperazone is the third generation cephalosporin. It has good antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Salmonella typhomonas, Shigella, Citrobacter and other enterobacteriaceae bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, but has poor antibacterial effect on Enterobacter aerogenes, Enterobacter cloacae, Bacillus typhimurium and Acinetobacter. Influenza, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Neisseria meningitidis are highly sensitive to this product. This product also has a good effect on streptococcus and pneumococcus in each group, and only has a moderate effect on staphylococcus (methicillin-sensitive strain), and enterococcus is resistant. Cefoperazone has a good effect on most gram-positive and some gram-negative anaerobic bacteria, and Bacteroides fragile is resistant to this product.
The stability of cefoperazone to most β-lactamases was poor. This product mainly inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall.
