Diesel Oxidation Catalyst(DOC): It is a structure coated with an oxidized noble metal catalyst coating on the surface of a honeycomb shaped ceramic carrier. It can oxidize most of the carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (CH), and most of the soluble organic matter (SOF) in particulate matter (PM) in tail gas. The conversion efficiency of DOC for CH and CO is about 80% -90%, and the reaction efficiency for SOF is about 30%. And the oxidation reaction process will generate a large amount of heat, providing the required reaction temperature for SCR reaction or passive regeneration of CDPF.
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF): It is currently considered the most effective and technologically mature device for reducing PM emissions. DPF utilizes inertial collision, interception, diffusion, and gravity settling mechanisms to filter PM out of exhaust gas. The capture efficiency of DPF for PM in exhaust gas can reach about 95%.
The NOx conversion efficiency of the urea SCR system is influenced by many factors, including fuel quality, exhaust temperature, exhaust flow rate, and original NOx concentration; SCR mainly involves factors such as catalyst performance, urea solution injection control strategy, urea solution atomization quality, decomposition and mixing uniformity of urea droplets. The current key research work is mainly focused on two aspects: catalytic converters and urea injection systems.
