Product Description
Introduction to Zinc Oxide Drying and Calcining:
The current zinc oxide products mainly include active zinc oxide, high purity zinc oxide, and nanometer zinc
oxide. The dynamic drying and calcination equipment developed by our company is one of the most advanced
equipment and technique for zinc oxide calcination.
Product Introduction:
There are two traditional equipment to produce zinc oxide, one is shaft kiln, another is rotary kiln. The produced
zinc oxide is of low activity. Meanwhile, the process causes high energy consumption, serious pollution and
tremendous waste. To solve the issue, we designed and developed the dynamic drying and calcining equipment to
produce zinc oxide with high activity and purity. The equipment is energy-efficient, environment friendly;
possessing high recovery efficiency, small floor area and high automation level.
Working Principle:
The exhaust formed in the dynamic calciner during calcination enters the Sid dryer, and
the filter cake of zinc carbonate with moisture content from 30% to 50% is fed into the dryer. The dried zinc
carbonate goes through a breaker before enters the dynamic calciner, in the meantime, a hot blast stove supply hot
air into the calciner for the calcination of zinc carbonate. Under a temperature of 400~1000 ºC, the zinc carbonate,
quickly decomposes into zinc oxide, then slides into the product silo.
Performance & Features:
1. The produced zinc oxide has high activity and high purity: activity> 80 unit, purity> 99%.
2. Heat consumption: 150~200×104kcal/ton product.
3. Energy-efficient, environment friendly; small floor area and high automation level.
4. Recovery rate> 99%
