The 8890 Gas Chromatography (GC) system uses flexible configuration and features to deliver fast, accurate results to meet specific analytical needs. This high-performance intelligent interconnected gas chromatography system always exceeds your expectations when accurate results must be obtained and the proper operation of the instrument must be ensured.
Built-in intelligent interconnection and Generation 6 EPC enable automated diagnostics to check GC system health, alert you to potential problems and assist you in resolving them quickly. Step-by-step instructions for routine gas chromatography maintenance procedures are displayed remotely on a touch screen or through the GC browser user interface.

1.The browser user interface provides remote connectivity for monitoring smart gas chromatography systems, viewing system logs, and performing diagnostic tests inside or outside the laboratory
2.The full-featured touch screen provides visual reports of system configuration, allowing you to update the methods currently in use, perform routine maintenance, and check GC instrument status
3.Built-in intelligent connectivity automatically monitors system health, alerts users to potential problems before they affect chromatographic performance, and provides step-by-step guidance to help resolve problems
4.The unique 6th generation micro-flow path EPC architecture offers significant improvements in reliability and service life, resistance to gaseous pollutants such as particles, water vapor and oil, while extending system uptime and instrument consumables life
5.The microplate flow Control Technology (CFT) module can be installed with a column temperature chamber and has ultra-low heat capacity, providing unique airflow connectivity for multi-dimensional gas chromatography (GC x GC/ GC Switch centrecut), full two-dimensional gas chromatography (2D-GC) with flow path modulator, and pre-column, mid-column, and post-column blowback
6.The monofilm thermal conductivity detector (TCD) provides a stable baseline with minimal drift (very common in valve switching) without a separate reference gas path or manually adjusted potentiometer
7.The flame ionization detector (FID) automatically adjusts the detection range to enable ppb to 100 stage detection and quantitative analysis in a single GC injection
8.Compatible with all GC/MS platforms
