One of the newest and most advanced models of the power supply module line, General Electric Multilin's UR-SHA is a power supply module designed for use with the Universal Relays series. It provides power to the relay and its dry contact input connections. This module is one of the high power modules of the series, providing power at a rating of 125 to 250 V nominal. This differs from the lower power module of the series, which provides the relay with power at a range of 24 to 48 V (DC only) nominal. Users should ensure their power supply meets system needs, as exceeding the recommended ratings can cause damage to the system. The power provided to dry contact inputs is 48 V DC.
Maintenance and general troubleshooting on the UR-SHA module is streamlined due to the Universal Relays diagnostic and error-checking capabilities. Every Universal Relay unit is capable of assessing the health of hardware and hardware processes, generating system errors or indicating preventative maintenance is necessary when errors are detected. The Multilin relay can also employ the LEDs located on the faceplate of the device to indicate when the power supply is running successfully or encounters a failure.

How is the GE Multilin UR-SHA power supply module different from the 1st generation and second generation UR power supply modules?
UR-SHA is a power supply of the UR-SH generation, designed to replace the first generation (UR-1H) and the second generation (UR-RH) modules. These power supply modules are of the high voltage range. The UR-SH power supply has an increased voltage (45 W) compared to the old generations, which had a 35 W voltage. The Multilin UR-SH also has a 28% improved efficacy by minimizing the heat emitted with increased power. The module contains an over temperature protection feature by shutting off at a high temperature of 105 degrees C. In comparison to the first and second generations, the isolation voltage has also been increased from 2000 V AC to 2300 VAC.
