Our 16mm soft woven elastic tape with midfold is different from the general market items, to be exact:
1. Flat surface, no curve, no wavy.
2. Covered spandex inside, good recovery and durability.

5. About 20% thicker than general competitors'.

Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw spandex with nylon yarn, because raw spandex is hard to be dyed and nylon can be dyed more easily, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the dyed woven elastic tape.

Winding the nylon yarn and covered spandex onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns into the 16MM midfold elastic.

Weaving the greige of the 16MM nylon spandex center fold elastic tape with matte weft yarn in dyeable raw white color.

Dyeing the raw white greige of 16MM soft midfold elastic by continuous dyeing and finishing machine. The levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow agent or color fixing agent will be used in this process.

Inspecting the dyed over folding elastic by narrow fabric folding machine and ribbon metal detectors.

Packing the 16MM midfold elastic tape into layered bale, then load into strong export cartons with custom shipping marks.
