Can we test the protein bar machine before purchase? How do we test?

Customers are always welcome to test our protein bar machine. Normally there are two ways for customer to test our protein bar machine: 1. Customer visits us in person or entrust a third party to visit us for testing. 2. Customer sends us their raw materials and formula, we test here in our factory for customer. 

Customer can choose the most convenient way they want. For some customers who are not convenient to send the materials, we can help purchasing the materials locally here.

What is the working principle of the protein bar making machine?

Unlike the sheeting cutting or moulding process, the protein bar making machine uses extrusion process with custom nozzle to form the bar: Firstly, the ready mixed dough sent to the hopper with two sprial rollers horizontally to convey the dough and one pushing roller to push dough down, secondly, the dough comes to the rectifier which distributes the dough evently down to the custom nozzle, thirdly, the custom nozzle made of custom size and shape accordingly to customer's requirement. Fourthly, the one row slab was sent to the conveyor belt with safety guard for protection, the pneumatic cutter controlled by air compressor cuts the bar in a uniform size.

What is the production process of the protein bar extruder?

The final finished protein bar extruder had been through below production process: Accesories finishing, stainless steel sheet processing, electronic components organization, PLC programming, quality inspection. 

Can the protein bar extruder machine make any type of food bars? Can the protein bar extruder machine make other products except bars?  

The protein bar extruder machine is just one type of food bar machine, it can not make any types of food bars. This protein bar extruder machine is only suitable for bar with soft and medium hard mixture. The dough can be mixed with smaller size granules. For final confirmation, we require cusotmer to send us more information of their bar. Normally we need customer's bar photos, major materials list(formula will be best), dough video.

The protein bar extruder machine is special designed for protein bar, fruit bar and other soft bars. This protein bar extruder machine is also available for making simple cookies.

If customer requires to make more than one kind of product, we can recommend other suitbale model machine. If customer's bar is not suitable for extrusion, our P401 model cereal bar machine may be the best choice. 

 

How to judge the hardness and stickness of the mixture available for extrusion by the protein bar extruding machine?

The protein bar extruding machine is only suitable for soft and medium hard mixture, also too sticky mixture will stick to cutting blade and conveyor belt. Then how to budge the hardness and viscosity? 

We have more than ten years experience on the protein bar extruding machine, we have tested thousands of customers' materials. Firstly, We can basically judge by seeing bar photos; Secondly, we can judge by watching customer's mixture videos. It must be fresh new made mixture, normally we require customer to squeeze the mixture by hand, so we can judge the hardness and viscosity at the same time. If it's a hard dough, it will be hard to squeeze by hand, If it's a sticky mixture, it won't fall out of your hand or it won't fall out of your belt. Thirdly, we require customer to send us their main material ration list, detailed formula will be prefered. Finally, if we still can not judge, we shall require customer to send us their materials by air, we test here in our factory. 

For fruit paste or date paste bar, normally they are quite sticky. The date paste bar machine can handle most of them, but some of the paste are sticky with high temperature or sticky even after cooling, This requires us to add cooling tunnel after the date paste bar extruder and before the date paste bar cutting machine. Of course, our date paste bar making machine can not make all kinds of fruit paste bar, we still need customer to send us their videos or materials to double check.

Can the protein bar extrusion machine make center filling bar or double layer bar?

The protein bar extrusion machine is designed with non-filling structure. This protein bar extrusion machine can not make center filling bar or double layer bar. According to our experience, most customer requires center filling for cookie bar or filled date bar like fig bar and date roll, If customer has such kind requirement, Our another model P160 automatic encrusting machine is more suitable for customer to choose.
