Description:
Aloe vera roots are fibrous roots, short and erect stems. Leaves caespitose at apex, arranged spirally, sometimes in two rows. Leaves thick, lanceolate. Leaves 30 -- 80 x 3 -- 16 x 2.5 -- 6 cm thick, apically acuminate, slightly clasped at base. Leaves are pale green, sometimes with large and distinct pale white spots that disappear as leaves grow, and leaf margins are spiny.
