Tubes are subject to the risk of bursting if they operate under extreme conditions such as high temperatures (>60ºC) and corrosive fluids (strong acids, alkalis or solvents). High temperatures (>60ºC) can cause softening of the tube and reduce the burst pressure limit. This would considerably diminish safety margins. Furthermore, chemical gases in the air may accelerate the aging and cracking of the tube. Please do not subject tubes to a humid environment or store them for extended periods (>12 months), otherwise they may degrade and become prone to cracking due to the hydrolysis effect.
