HNBR Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber Sheeting is a superior grade of Nitrile (NBR), which is achieved through saturating the Butadiene with Hydrogen. This gives it outstanding properties of oil, chemical, water and abrasion resistance. Alongside this it also has excellent aging resistance due to heat, steam, UV, weather and ozone. Commonly used in cut strip, gaskets or sheet form in the oil drilling & automotive industries. This rubber has a hardness of 70° Shore.
Our hydrogenated nitrile HNBR is a premium grade material that offers superior resistance and physical properties compared to our other nitrile material grades. Also known as saturated nitrile, this material is produced by introducing hydrogen into the saturate of the nitrile material.
Hydrogenated nitrile provides excellent resistance against motor oil, gas, oxidised fuels as well as lubricating oil deterioration. It is also highly resistant to animal and vegetable fats, fuel, Ozone, solvents and dilute acids. Aside from providing outstanding resistance and stability, hydrogenated nitrile also provides superior tensile and tear strength properties. This combination of properties enable you to use our material in a broad range of applications and environments.
