Xylene, also known as stubble, has a chemical formula of C8H10. Xylene or a mixture of xylene aromatic hydrocarbons, consisting of two methyl groups at different positions on the benzene ring. The three isomers of xylene have the molecular formula C8H10, or are represented by the semi-structural formula C6H4(CH3)2. Xylene is a major petrochemical produced in the manufacture of coke fuel by catalytic reforming and coal coking.
