Product Description
The application of SBS in asphalt modification includes two aspects: waterproofing membrane asphalt modification and road asphalt modification. The asphalt waterproofing membrane modified with SBS has the characteristics of good low-temperature flexibility, self-healing ability and durability, high-temperature flow resistance, aging resistance, thermal stability, and impact resistance. It can greatly improve the performance of the waterproofing membrane, extend its service life, and meet the needs of important buildings and structures. It has been widely used in municipal engineering, including bridge decks (concrete), subways, and underground passages, as well as in hydraulic engineering, including water tanks, canals, and so on.
(1) Thermoplastic processing equipment can be used for processing and molding, such as extrusion, injection, blow molding, etc., with a faster molding speed than traditional vulcanized rubber processes;
(2) Without vulcanization, the vulcanization process in the general thermosetting rubber processing can be omitted, resulting in less equipment investment, low production energy consumption, simple process, short processing cycle, high production efficiency, and low processing costs;
(3) The leftover materials can be recycled multiple times, saving resources and benefiting environmental protection.

APPLICATIONS
1. TPR modification
MPR6236 has a good melt flow index, a better reticular structure in terms of molecular structure, good melt strength. The product can be used for ultra-light bottom areas, and the incidence of up to 0.7 (ultra-light bottom, relative density) and the bubble is fine and uniform distribution, so that it not only have the advantages of ultra-light weight, but also has anti for better performance (resistance to 50000 bending tests).
MPR6236 also has good transparency and can be used for transparent sole, and the product has a certain fog-surface effect, which can be used for some high-end transparent soles required for fog surface.
2. Plastic modification
MPR6236 has higher resistance to bending , better elasticity and toughness, and high transparency (at least 88% light transmittance ), which can be used for some transparent plastic or non-transparent plastic modification, such as PS,ABS and AS modification etc. It not only can improve the toughness of this series of products,

workability and efficiency, also can improve the corresponding products, such transparency of ABS.
3. Asphalt modification
MPR6236 is one kind of radial glue with certain conventional SBS characteristics, and also can be used for bitumen, such as roofing waterproof asphalt and emulsified road modification.
