The can seam welder is key equipment specifically used in the manufacturing of metal cans (such as food cans, beverage cans, chemical cans, etc.) to weld tinplate sheets of the can body into cylindrical shapes. It operates based on the principle of resistance welding. When an electric current passes through the metal sheets to be welded, the heat generated by resistance at the contact points will cause sheets to reach a molten state. Under the continuous pressure and rolling action of the upper and lower rollers, the molten metal fuses together. As the rollers move, a continuous weld seam is formed.
This welder is used for welding can bodies of food cans and chemical cans with diameter D65-D300mm.It has been continuously optimized after decades of encountering various material properties. It is suitable for welding special materials such as tinplate, galvanized plate, chromium plate, aluminum zinc plate, stainless plate, etc. lt has the advantages of high stability and low defective rate and is well received by domestic and foreign markets.
