Tobee® ceramic slurry pump impellers with silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide (Si3N4-SiC). There are many good characteristics of slurry pump ceramic impellers, such as abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance etc. Now the parts are continually provided for coal power generation, non-ferrous foundry, mining and others.
The corrosion and abrasion resistance of ceramic slurry pump parts are highly exceed ones made by high chrome alloy. The abrasion resistance of Si3N4-SiC material is 3.5 times as wearable as Cr15Mo3 (A07). However the weight of Si3N4-SiC material is only 1/3 of high chrome alloy slurry pump parts.
