6 Inch Wellpoint Vacuum Assist Dewatering Pump
The 6 inch dewatering pump is one of YONJOU YP vacuum assist pump, is used as wellpoint dewatering pump.The YP dewatering pump with semi-open impeller and a simplex separator where air can separate from the liquid and be sucked by a vacuum pump. The vacuum pump allows the unit to be primed automatically and capable of drawing significant quantities of air, allowing the priming of a wellpoint system and maintaining it under vacuum, or draining an excavation thoroughly under "snore" conditions.
Our dry prime vacuum assist dewatering pump series integrates our unique vacuum system with high performance centrifugal pumps for maximum performance in air handling and water volume. The water ring vacuum system used in our wellpoint pumps is independent of the centrifugal pump, with no cross contamination to wear on vacuum pump tolerances. Available in sizes from 4" to 10", diesel or electric powered.

Wellpoint systems are known for their ability to dewater water-bearing soils such as sand and gravel and are used extensively in work like soil stabilization, pressure relief for dams and levees, and for water supply for municipalities and industrial plants. In construction work, a wellpoint system is usually a series of properly sized wellpoints, surrounding or paralleling the area to be dewatered, and connected to a header pipe by risers and swing hoses. Depending on the volume of water being handled, more than one wellpoint system may be needed.

As the rotors rotate, the liquid is carried in the pockets formed between the rotors and housing where the meshing of the rotors compresses the liquid and forces it out of the discharge port.
