Cold drawn precision seamless steel pipe is a precision cold drawn seamless pipe with high dimensional accuracy and good surface smoothness used for mechanical structures and hydraulic equipment. Choosing precision seamless pipes to manufacture mechanical structures or hydraulic equipment can greatly save machining hours, improve material utilization, and also contribute to improving product quality
To obtain smaller and better quality small-diameter seamless steel pipes, cold rolling, cold drawing, or a combination of both methods must be used. Cold rolling is usually carried out on a two roll mill, where steel pipes are rolled in a circular hole pattern consisting of a variable cross-section circular groove and a stationary conical top. Cold drawing is usually carried out on single chain or double chain cold drawing machines with a capacity of 0.5-100T
