Description for Mirrlees Blackstone ESL Exhaust Valve:
1. Material grade:
Standard: X33CrNiMnN23-8 (DIN1.4866 , 23-8N)
Altrnative: Valve Head: Nimonic 80A(NiCr20TiAl); Valve Stem:1.4731(X40CrSiMo10-2) friction weld to valve head
(comply with European Standard EN10090: 1998 Valve Steels and Alloys for Internal Combustion Engines):
2. Valve stem chrome plated and tip harden to 50-55HRc.
3. Valve head is upset forged and die pressed for grain flow along head profile.
4. Valve stem friction welded to valve head.
5. Close controlled heat treatment for achieving proper mechanical properties and metallurgical structure.
6. Stress released completely for microstructure and dimensional stability.
7. Supersonic detection for welded stem, dye penetrant and magnetic particle inspection for entire valve.
8. LR, BV, CCS Certificate depends on needs.
9. Proven Reliability by European customers.
