This series of three roll mill is good for DTG digital textile pigment ink grinding.

Part One: What is three roller grinding mill?

The grinding effect is achieved through the mutual extrusion of the surfaces of the three horizontal rollers and the friction at different speeds, so that it is called a three-roll machine.



Part Two: Features:

1. The centers of the three rollers are in a straight line. Usually, the three rollers are horizontally installed, and the hydraulic type three-roller machine is sometimes installed obliquely. The heat generated by roller friction is taken away by cooling water, so the rollers are hollow.

2. The material is fed between the middle roller and the slowest roller. Due to the different rotation speeds of the three rollers (the rotation speed increases sequentially from the back to the front), a good grinding effect is produced. After grinding, the material is finally discharged from the fastest rotating roller (there is a scraper knife at the discharge).

3. Usually, the material of the roller of the three-roller mill is centrifugal casting of chilled alloy cast iron, and the surface hardness is above HS70°; so it can produce uniform and delicate high-quality products.

4. According to the different grinding materials, it can be driven by a belt or a speed reducer. The power of the motor can be increased, and it can also be equipped with a frequency converter. Explosion-proof motors and explosion-proof magnetic starters. Fully meet the production needs of various materials.


Part Three: Working principle:

The material is fed from the similar hopper area composed of two medium and slow rollers and two baffle plates. The opposite asynchronous rotation of the medium and slowest two rollers causes the sharp friction reaction of the raw material, and the strong shearing external force destroys the inner material of the material particles. Structural stress between molecules, and then through the secondary grinding of medium and fastest rollers, so as to achieve rapid grinding and dispersion.

It is mainly used for grinding various paints, inks, pigment paste, pencil leads, silica gel, fishing rod paints, pigments, plastics, cosmetics, lipsticks, soaps, ceramics, silicone rubber and other thick paste and paste materials.
