Product Description
2-Deoxy-D-ribose
Chemical Property/Description
White to off-white crystalline powder,2-Deoxy-D-ribose is a very widely used monosaccharide, which has important value and increasing demand in the pharmaceutical field, especially in the synthesis of antiviral drugs.
Main Uses:
Synthesis and production of nucleoside products of important intermediates, biochemistry and other scientific research.
2-Deoxy-D-ribose is the basic raw material and key intermediate of nucleoside drugs, mainly used in the manufacture of antiviral drugs and anti-tumor drugs, mostly used in the treatment of AIDS, hepatitis B and cancer, has important development value and market prospects.
2-Deoxy-D-ribose is a reducing sugar formed as a degradation product during thymidine phosphorylase metabolism. At a concentration of 15mM, it increased the level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in HL-60 human leukemia cells.
2-Deoxy-D-ribose (10µM) induces tube formation and migration of bovine aortic endothelial (BAE) cells. Local administration of2-Deoxy-D-ribose increased angiogenesis and accelerated wound healing in a rat full-layer skin wound model.
