Activated Molecular Sieve Powder
Activated molecular sieve powder is a dehydrated molecular sieve powder that selectively adsorbs molecules based on molecular size and polarity. This versatile powder can capture any molecule with an effective diameter smaller than 3/4/5/10 angstroms. By adding the activated powder to your system, you can effectively eliminate the residual moisture in polyurethane systems, without affecting solvents, resins, or pigments. This prevents air bubble formation and extends the material's lifespan, making it an ideal powder dehumidifier for polyurethane coatings, adhesives, and sealants.
Activated Molecular Sieve Powder offers high dispersibility and rapid adsorbability. It is specially designed for unique absorptive applications, functioning as a formless desiccant or as an adsorbent mixed with other materials. It can eliminate water, prevent bubbles, and enhance uniformity and strength when used as an additive or base in paint, resin, and certain adhesives. It also serves as a desiccant in insulating glass rubber spacers.
Zeolites have adsorption and ion conversion functions, and because each zeolite has its specific uniform pore size (0.3 ~ 1mm), only molecules of corresponding size can be passed through. Widely used as catalyst or carrier, desiccant, feed additives, soil amendments, sewage purification agent, plastic and paper making filler, seawater potassium, etc. And a lot of use in cement production.
Natural zeolite powder contains high purity silicate, its composition is the same as 4A zeolite, with loose, porous structure, high whiteness.
