Initially, the raw material (dolomite) is crushed into meticulously qualified dimensions (20-40mm) using a robust crusher, subsequently sintered in a rotary kiln, then cooled via an efficient cooler. It is ground into a fine powder using a ball mill and formed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite, processed in the rotary or vertical kiln, is transformed into calcined white, then skillfully combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a cohesive dough. This is placed into a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, positioned within a reduction furnace, where it is reduced at an optimal temperature of 1200-1250°C under a precise vacuum of 1.33Pa. This process yields crude magnesium, which undergoes flux refining, ingot casting, and surface treatment to produce pristine finished magnesium ingots.
