Top Mounted Magnetic Level Switch
 

A Top-Mounted Magnetic Level Switch is a device installed at the top of tanks, containers, or reservoirs to detect and control the liquid level. It operates using a magnetic float that moves up and down with the liquid level. The magnetic force triggers a non-contact reed switch inside the device, providing an ON/OFF signal. This type of level switch is ideal for applications where side-mounting is not possible, such as deep tanks, vertical tanks, or large storage vessels.

As the liquid level rises or falls, the 
magnetic float moves vertically. This movement causes the magnetic field to activate the internal reed switch, which sends an ON/OFF signal to the control system. This signal can be used for high/low-level alarms, pump start/stop control, and automated system integration.
