Bullet-resistant glass is a composite material made by bonding multiple layers of glass and high-strength organic plates together with transparent bonding materials such as PVB film or SentryGlas interlayer (SGP film). It typically features a transparent structure and is known as SGP laminated glass. Bullet-resistant glass generally consists of three layers:
1. Load-bearing Layer: This layer is designed to initially withstand impacts and may shatter upon impact. It usually uses thicker, high-strength glass that can disrupt the bullet or alter its shape, neutralizing its penetrating power.
