1.How to choose the resistor ?
1 We would like to commend the wirewound resistor for you when it will be used in low voltage(220v-3.5kv).
2 It is better to use glass glaze resistor in high voltage(above 5.0kv).
3 For high-frequency circuits,to recommend oxide film resistor or glass glaze resistors.The resistance of the structure body,determines that it has a low inductance.There are requirements on the circuit inductance,film resistor is your best choice.
2. How to choose the resistor power?
Power is larger (≥ 20W) of the load resistor at full power for a long (more than 2 hours) work surface will produce 300ºC temperature of around. And safe use of the resistor surface temperature is preferably maintained at less than 200ºC. Therefore, when the choice of the resistor, reduced power in using should be considered.
