Clavicle Shaft Locking Bone Plate

1. Design:

   • Locking holes for screws to provide angular stability, reducing the risk of implant failure or displacement.
2. Screw Compatibility:
   • Uses Φ3.5 mm locking screws, providing strong fixation with minimal risk of loosening over time.

   • Available in multiple sizes to accommodate different patient anatomies and injury types:
     • Holes: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12
     • Length (mm): 67, 81, 91, 103, 115, 138
4. Material:
   • Typically made of titanium or stainless steel, which offers high biocompatibility and strength, reducing the risk of allergic reactions or implant failure.

• The clavicle locking plate is designed for internal fixation of fractures along the clavicle shaft. It is particularly useful in cases where precise alignment and stabilization of the bone are needed to promote proper healing.

• Clavicle shaft fractures, including:
  • Displaced and non-displaced fractures
  • Comminuted fractures (multiple fragments)
  • Mid-shaft clavicle fractures
  • Open or closed fractures
  • Fractures associated with osteoporotic bone where enhanced fixation is needed

• The clavicle locking plate is not recommended in the following cases:
  • Infections or active osteomyelitis in the region of the fracture
  • Severe soft tissue conditions where there is insufficient coverage to prevent skin irritation or breakdown around the plate
  • Non-fixable fractures where adequate bone stock is not available for secure fixation
  • Patients with metal allergies, particularly to titanium or stainless steel (if the material of the plate is not hypoallergenic)
