The Multirake Screen is a kind of reverse-rake rotary chain grille.
The high-strength chain and the cleaning rake descend on the upstream side of the frame. When the chain reaches the bottom of the grille, since it only bends in one direction, it naturally articulates in the opposite direction without the guidance of any lower sprocket. The cleaning rake combines with the grid bars at the bottom, captures the grid residue and moves the grid residue upward to the upper end of the grille for slag discharging.
The transmission sprockets and ends are in the form of stainless steel castings, which are of greater strength. The transmission sprocket features a through solid shaft design and can handle heavy loads and torsion better.
