Product Description
CHG Applicators have been applied for skin antisepsis and Surgery, they are made of medical grade 100PPI open-cell polyurethane foam & ABS handle. It is with formulation of 2% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA), thus it would kill more bacteria than traditional Iodophor & Alcohol Applicators.
CHG surgical Skin Preparation Applicator forms a long lasting antimicrobial film that achieves a 99.999% microbial reduction in just 2 minutes. Skin preoprative antiseptic CHG Swab applicator helps to reduce BSIs, SSIs and catheter-related infections, efficiently killing a broad spectrum bacteria. They have been widely used for Hospitals, INS (Infusion Nurses Society), SHEA (Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America) and IDSA (Infectious Diseases Society of America).
