Its vapor and air can form an explosive mixture, which can cause combustion and explosion in case of open fire and high heat energy. It reacts with oxidizing agents.

3-Indolebutyric acid is a widely used plant growth regulator, mainly used as a rooting agent.
Can promote the roots of herbs and woody ornamental plant cuttings.
