Helically coiled wire thread inserts are ingeniously coiled fastenings, ideal for reinforcing threads and safeguarding tapped holes against potential failure.
Each insert distributes the load evenly over the entire bolt and hole, drastically improving holding capacity and resistance to pull-out forces.
Our thread inserts are manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel wire, expertly rolled into a resilient diamond-shaped cross-section for optimal performance.
The surface Treatment includes dry-film-lubrication,zinc-plating,silver-plating,cadmium-plating,phoshor-bronze,coloring etc.
We also have a vast range of associated tooling such as taps, installation tools, thread repair kits in stock.
Installation Procedure:Step one: Drill the hole - use a correct diameter twist drill. Do notg counter-sink if it can be avoided.
Step two: Cut the thread - Cut tghe mounting thread with the correct selected tap.
Step three: Check the tapped thread - Use a gauge to check the mounting thread.
Step four: Installation - Thread inserts can be installed into the base thread, the end of the wire shoud be screwed at least 1/4 turn under the material surface.
Step five: Break the tang - The tangs are broken off using the tang remover in through holes.
Step six: Check the thread - Renewed check the thread after installing.
