Product Description
The fruiting body of Agaricus bisporus is medium to slightly large. The cap varies from 3-15 cm in diameter, initially hemispherical, then nearly spreading, sometimes concave in the middle, white or creamy white, smooth or later with tufts of hair-like scales, the edges splitting when opened and dried. The flesh is white, thick. Mycorrhizal folds pinkish brown, black, denser, free, unequal. Stalk thick and short, cylindrical, slightly curved, 1-9×0.5-2 cm, nearly smooth or slightly ciliate, white, solid inside. Mycorrhizal ring single layer, white, membranous, born in the middle of the stalk, easy to fall off. There are two spores on the stamens, so called bifid mushroom, spore print dark brown. Spores brown, oval, smooth, 6.5-10×5-6.5 microns.
