2.1.2 Decanter machine Structural features:
  1. Structure form: The machine is a sophisticated two-phase horizontal screw discharge sedimentation centrifuge. It comprises a drum, end cover shaft, screw, differential, frame, shell, shock absorber, etc., enabling continuous solid-liquid separation under centrifugal force.
  2. Discharge method: The dehydrated solid mud cake is propelled out of the drum by the discharge spiral, then discharged by gravity. The separated liquid, under centrifugal force, exits the rotating drum and is discharged via gravity.
  3. This decanter employs a large length-diameter ratio combined with high rotational speed. The extended length-diameter ratio enhances material clarification and dehydration time within the machine, while high speeds create a powerful centrifugal force field, significantly improving separation efficacy.
  4. The drum's large end is equipped with a replaceable weir plate for adjusting the liquid layer depth, ensuring optimal separation.
  5. The machine uses double frequency conversion to initiate operations, allowing for stepless speed control of the drum.
  6. Adopting the planetary differential, this feature offers large pushing torque and ensures stable, reliable operation.
  7. The main bearing is SKF brand and benefits from high-quality grease lubrication.
  8. Wear-resistant technology: The drum slag discharge port is lined with replaceable wear-resistant hard alloy bushings. The rotary drum's inner wall is welded with stainless steel wear-resistant electrodes.
  9. The centrifuge drum is crafted from 2304 material via centrifugal casting.
  10. The rotary drum screw undergoes precise dynamic balance checks, ensuring minimal vibration, extended operational periods, and overall safety and reliability.
2.1.3 Gas control function of the decanter screw
    1. Double frequency conversion is employed for both starting and controlling the main and auxiliary motors, offering stepless adjustable drum and differential speeds.
    2. The control cabinet features a PLC automatic control function coupled with a touch screen display for user-friendly interaction.
    3. The operation panel includes an emergency stop button for enhanced safety.
    4. Flushing button: Upon activation, the equipment will automatically decelerate to the preset flushing frequency.
