Product Description
Phenolic resin is a general term for the polycondensation product of phenolic compound and aldehyde compound. Among them, phenolic resin, which is polycondensed with phenol and formaldehyde, is the most important.

Features (characteristics of cured products): high carbon content, can be used as ablation resistant materials; good heat resistance; good corrosion resistance; good water resistance; good dimensional stability, mold parts have a fixed shape, no cracking, etc.


The most important equipment for making Phenolic resin is the reactor.

The reactor is a comprehensive reaction vessel.


1. According to the reaction conditions, design the structure, function and configuration accessories of the reactor. From the beginning of the feed-reaction-discharge, the pre-set reaction steps can be completed with a high degree of automation. 2. Strictly regulate important parameters such as temperature, pressure, mechanical control (stirring, air blowing, etc.), reactant/product concentration and other important parameters in the reaction process.
3. The materials of the reactor generally include carbon-manganese steel, stainless steel, zirconium, nickel-based (Hastelloy, Monel) alloy and other composite materials. The reactor can be made of SS304, SS321, SS316L and other stainless steel materials.
4. The agitator has anchor type, frame type, paddle type, turbine type scraper type combined rotating mechanism, which can adopt cycloid pinwheel reducer, stepless speed reducer or frequency conversion speed control, etc., which can meet the special reaction requirements of various materials .
5. The sealing device can adopt mechanical seal, packing seal and other sealing structures.
6. Heating and cooling can use jackets, half pipes, coils and other structural forms. Heating methods include steam, electric heating, and heat transfer oil to meet the process requirements of different working environments such as acid resistance, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.




1.Why do you need to choose the limpet coil reactor?

Limpet coil reactor is widely used due to its special structure.
The limpet coils(or named half pipe,half tube) are welded around the seal bottom and reactor tank.Compared with simple type jacket structure(an empty jacket),the heating oil or steam or water could flow faster across the coils.Also,it could endure more higher pressure than jacket but no need to raise plate thickness,that will save user's money.

Of course,it has the biggest disadvantage:too many weldings!
That means,the limpet coil reactor should be welded very well and test very carefully,especally for high pressure steam usage or hot oil usage.
