Bolted steel Wastewater Holding Tank is bolted type . Factory fabricated steel panels are bolted together by high grade bolts and sealed by silicone sealant . The glass fused steel tank is gas and liquid impermeable . When make the installation , it is usually assembled from top to bottom , which the top rings is firstly connected and then next ring .... till the bottom ring . Lifting system like jacks or steel poles are used to lift the tanks which give access to workers to assembly the next rings .
Modular Construction
The bolted steel liquid storage tank is made of Glass-Fused-to-Steel, which combines the strength and flexibility of steel and the corrosion resistance of glass. The modular construction of bolted steel liquid storage tanks allows it to be quickly erected. Normally, the installation is very quick, often requiring less than a third of the time it typically takes to complete a welded or a concrete tank. bolted steel tanks are manufactured and finished in our factory, which allows each section to be formed according to strict structural specifications, with quality bends, welds and surface preparations that are monitored with comprehensive quality control measures. Once the pretreatment for steels are complete, they are powder-coated in a tightly-controlled environment, which results in a durable finish that virtually eliminates corrosion and maintenance issues, unlike field-welded tanks, which must be finished at the installation site, often resulting in an imperfect and inconsistent finished coating that is susceptible to corrosion and other damage.
