2. Pay close attention to the wrapping direction. For example, when an angle valve is screwed into the wall's inner thread, it rotates clockwise. Therefore, the raw material tape should be wrapped counterclockwise, ensuring the valve tightens as you screw it in, preventing any potential loosening.
3. As you wrap, make sure the PTFE thread seal tape is tightly bound to the thread, applying firm pressure. This ensures a snug fit, preventing loosening. Press the tape firmly with your hands as you wrap to maintain maximum adhesion.
4. There isn't a strict guideline for the number of wraps required. The key is to wrap enough to prevent leakage. Typically, more than ten wraps are recommended to guarantee a strong seal.
5. When tightening the thread, moderation is key. Avoid excessive force; a firm hand-tightening is often sufficient to ensure a secure seal without risking damage.
