Anchor mooring winch is a combination of anchor windlass and mooring winch. It is an ideal choice to perform both anchoring and mooring functions in various types of vessels.
The winch can be electrically or hydraulically driven depending on the existing infrastructure, your preference and financial
considerations. It can be designed for any type or size of mooring line and any chain size to suit your winching requirements.
The anchor and mooring winch can pull up to 100 tons. We offer a variety of optional features to make sure you end up with a perfect winch system.

Install1.Windlass brake
The chain wheels or windings of the windlass shall be equipped with reliable brakes
When the brake brakes tight, the reel should be able to withstand the anchor chain or cable break load 45% static tension, or can withstand the maximum static load on the anchor chain.The stressed parts should not be permanently deformed and the braking device should not slip.
A clutch shall be installed between the sprocket wheel and the drive shaft of the windlass, and the clutch shall have a reliable locking device.Brake and clutch should be operated conveniently and reliably.The windlass device shall be provided with an effective chain breaker.The chain breaker shall be able to withstand the test load equivalent to the anchor chain and the stress shall not be greater than 90% of the material yield point.

Generally, the installation of the windlass should ensure that the three points of the anchor chain leading out (the anchor chain barrel, the chain controller and the sprocket) are in one line
☆Work load: refers to the tension measured at the outlet of the anchor chain wheel.
☆Overload tension: the short time overload capacity required by the windlass.
☆Average speed: the speed at which two anchor chains are recovered when three are in the water and are freely suspended.
☆Support load: refers to the maximum static load on the anchor chain that the anchor chain wheel brake should be able to bear.
