PRODUCT DATA SHEET:
SD331 is a styrene-series macroporous adsorption resin polymerized with aromatic ring and unique pore diameter, which is characterized by separating positive polar sustances from nonpolar solutions.
Containing a small numbers of strong acid cation-exchange functional groups, it presents weak positive polarity and exchanges cations by electrostatic pull per se. In addition, it contains higher specific surface area and unique macroporous structure which qualify its strong adsorption force to large molecules. Overall, SD331 is validated to adsorb cationic organics and impurities from nonpolar solutions, in particular with large capacity and efficient elution rate for a variety of organic matters &pigments.
In applications, SD331 is widely used for odor and pigment removal in F&B industry and most suitable for sugar liquid decolorization and deodorization for improving the taste, such as removing metal cations and positive impurity molecules from Stevia, meanwhile maintaining the acidic PH value of high frutose syrup or decreasing the high PH value of the feed if applicable.
