PRODUCT DATA SHEET:
EG-50C resin model is a fine-grained electronic-grade gel-type strongly acidic cation exchange resin of the sulphonated polystyrene type. Owing to its excellent physical and chemical stability and thermostable performance, EG-50C can be applied in the water desalting process within various industries such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, electric power engineering, electronics, semiconductor, food& beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, etc, in particular for removel of cations such as silicon from aqueous solutions.
Featured by its tiny and uniform particle size, the overall surface area contact of functional groups of EG-50C are enlarged for more exchange capacity. Thus effluent quality at operation increases rapidly with steady effluent resistivity and so is the volume of water processed per unit volume. Specifically attributed to the electronic grade high-purity and regeneration level it reaches, EG-50C is widely used in electric power industries, for its excellent pperformance of producing high-purity silicon-free desalted water with a resistivity greater than 17MΩ•cm.
