Stainless steel Crimped mesh need Crimp Warp wire and Weft wire prior to weaving . The pre-crimp action enables both the warp and weft wires to nest securely with each other restricting their random movement and ensuring an accurate and consistent opening size. This weaving technique adds strength and rigidity to the wire cloth. The Crimped mesh are in three major types: Double Crimp, Lock Crimp and Intermediate Crimp. Lock Crimp is one of the most efficient patterns for all heavy duty screens when rough screening surface is acceptable and when spacing is large in relation to the wire size. Lock crimp locks each wire in place so that a uniform opening is maintained. Intermediate Crimp are other enhancement of the basic pre-crimp weave. Both the warp and weft wires are crimped with extra crimps or corrugations between the points of intersection. This technique is usually required when weaving large openings with fine wires. Inter-crimping assures the proper locking of the warp and weft wires and adds rigidity and accuracy. Materials: AISI304, 316, Low carbon steel and High carbon steel.
