Working principle:

When the internal mixer is working, the two rotors rotate relative to each other, and the material from the feeding port is clamped and brought into the roll gap. It is squeezed and sheared by the rotor. After passing through the roll gap, it hits the sharp edge of the lower top bolt and is divided into two parts. Return to the top of the wheel gap along the gap between the front and rear chamber walls and the rotor. During the flow around the rotor, the material is subjected to shear and friction everywhere, which causes the temperature of the rubber compound to rise sharply and the viscosity to decrease, which increases the wettability of the rubber on the surface of the compounding agent and makes the rubber and the compounding agent surface fully contact. The compound agglomerates along with the rubber material pass through the gap between the rotor and the rotor, the gap between the rotor and the upper and lower top bolts, and the inner wall of the mixing chamber, and are sheared and broken, surrounded by the stretched and deformed plastic, and stabilized in a broken state. At the same time, the ribs on the rotor make the rubber material move along the axial direction of the rotor, which has a stirring and mixing effect, so that the compounding agent is evenly mixed in the rubber material. The compounding agent is repeatedly sheared and broken in this way, and the rubber compound is repeatedly deformed and restored. The continuous stirring of the rotor ribs makes the compounding agent uniformly dispersed in the compound.

The internal mixer is composed of rotor mixing chamber, feeding and pressing device, transmission device, sealing device, lubrication system, heating system and electrical control system. The mixing chamber of the internal mixer consists of a sealed cavity with a ∞-shaped cross-section, which is equipped with a pair of rotors. The two ends of the rotor are sealed to prevent the material from leaking out of the shaft. The upper part of the mixing chamber has a material pressing device. The material pressing device is composed of an upper bolt and a counterweight. The upper bolt is connected with the piston rod and the piston. It is composed of a lower bolt opening and closing device and a locking device. The lifting and pressing of the upper bolt are operated by a hand wheel. When the internal mixer is working, the inner wall of the mixing chamber has a heating function, so it is equipped with a heating system. The heating medium is generally electric.
